Grenadine Competition: Get Ready To Play!

The PDF pattern for the Grenadine skirt is the big surprise that slipped into the latest issue of the l’Oeil Fauve magazine, but we don’t intend to stop there.... It’s time for a summer-long competition based around the most adorable mini skirt!

Jacquards, gabardines, cotton sateens, but also denim, velvets, cotton canvas and laces.

To play you’ll need to:

• Link this post

• Follow the @maisonfauveuk accounts (because the competition is open to everyone)

• Download the latest issue of L’Œil Fauve to access the pattern file

• Sew the skirt of your dreams (all hacks are allowed as long as you can still recognise the original pattern, especially the signature cut-out, and you can use any fabric you like, not just Maison Fauve fabrics)

• Take a pretty photo of your Grenadine skirt and post it on your Instagram wall (your account must be public otherwise we won’t be able to see your work) and in a story tagging @maisonfauveuk and adding the #grenadinecompetition (very important so that we can find the participants).

From 31 July, we’ll be reposting a selection of the prettiest Grenadine skirts in our stories every Wednesday.

The competition runs from 16 July to midnight on 3 September to give you time to sew and photograph your skirt.

What do we gain?

The winner will be the favourite skirt chosen by the Femmes Fauve team, and will win ALL THE PATTERNS in the new ‘Le Rivage’ collection and a 100£ voucher valid to be used on all fabrics in the new collection.

And 3 participants will be drawn at random to win 1 pattern of their choice from the new collection.
