Maison Fauve at the Stitch Festival 2026: The Makers Catwalk Competition

We’re beyond excited to announce the return of our Maison Fauve UK Makers Catwalk Competition - and this year, it could be you stepping onto the runway!

We are looking for 4 talented makers to walk on The Makers Catwalk at the The Stitch Festival on Saturday 21st March 2026 at 12pm, at the Business Design Centre, London.

The Makers Catwalk is a celebration of creativity, craftsmanship and modern sewing. The challenge? Create a Maison Fauve outfit, sewn by you, and wear it proudly to represent our brand on the catwalk in front of fellow sewists, creatives, and fabric lovers. 

No professional modelling experience required - we’re looking for real makers, real passion and confident energy. If you love sewing, fashion, and a little bit of adrenaline - this one’s for you.  

What's in it for you?

Our 4 selected makers will receive:

•          Free entry to the Stitch Festival for the day
•          2 Maison Fauve patterns to create your catwalk outfit (for example: top + bottom, dress + jacket, etc.)
•          All the fabric and supplies needed to create your catwalk look
•          1 pattern from our New Spring Collection - gifted on the day of the show at our stand (collection launching in March)

Plus, of course… the unforgettable experience of walking the catwalk in your own handmade outfit.

Important Dates & Requirements

To take part, you must:

•          Be available on Saturday 21st March
•          Arrive at the venue on the morning of the show
•          Be happy to take part in a short interview for our social media
•          Feel comfortable appearing on Maison Fauve UK socials before, during, and after the event

All body types, genders and sewing backgrounds are welcome - Maison Fauve is committed to inclusive, creative representation.

Last year’s catwalk was packed with creativity, personality, and seriously impressive handmade looks. Our five makers truly brought it to the runway, creating stunning outfits across the spectrum — from casual and sporty to effortlessly chic. Each maker brought their own style to Maison Fauve patterns, and the results were nothing short of inspiring.
