I already told you a little about the inspirations of this collection in the previous article of the Journal which launched the lookbook to you. This time I will present to you in detail the sewing patterns and the new Maison Fauve fabrics perfect for sewing them in. I will also show you the gorgeous brands that we used for this crazy shoot.
Sewing patterns
The Haut Vol dress
This collection has its iconic dress! The beautiful Haut Vol dress is distinguished by its slim look, its pleated skirt, its gathered bust under a yoke, and of course its delicate opening on the front neckline. The finishes are very elaborate thanks to the assembly of the sheath bust. Find the step-by-step video of the pattern here.
The Salto top
Perfect little summer top, it is defined by its fully lined wide straps, its front and back bust bands, and the possibility of sewing a little top or a pretty buttoned top. It is this version that we detail in the step-by-step video.

Our printed viscose poplins are wonders of softness and lightness for the summer. Our brightly colored viscose twills will give even more intensity to your sewing projects. And we have a full range of pretty buttons to match.
The Tremplin Cargo Trousers
Each collection has its "Masterpiece".... And La Piscine is no exception!
The Tremplin cargo pants have a straight cut, a waist that is neither too high nor too low, and magnificent details that make them unique: delicately crafted pocket layout, stitched pleats on the knee for a precise fit and which retains the DNA of this iconic pants. And it is offered with 3 lower leg finishes: straight, elasticated, or with a buttoned tab. This sewing pattern is accompanied by a complete step-by-step video, with a full description of the buttoned placket finish.
Selection of La Piscine fabrics for Tremplin
We offer you a new fabric at Maison Fauve, a slightly elastane cotton satin with a delicate satin finish. Available in khaki and Sand, it's a marvel. We have also created a range of khaki and Sand buttons with sequined edges for the occasion, beautiful, like little jewels, or elegant and timeless horn buttons.
The Nage Libre jacket
A pretty jacket to throw on over your summer outfits, Nage Libre has the look of a beach cover up in light fabrics, or a mid-season jacket in heavier fabrics with more hold. Its pretty collar decorates the front of the jacket, its raglan sleeves soften the shoulder, and its Fauve detail is already a signature: a yoke that highlights the back. We feature the long version with the collar in the step-by-step video but it also comes in a short version without the collar band.

As beautiful in our viscose poplins as in our jacquards, the Nage Libre jacket also has a new selection of lining fabrics, and light gold piping to embellish its seam details.
The Grand Bain Shorts
The perfect shorts to reveal your legs: perfect length, comfortable and balanced volume, along with superb work on the Italian pockets, its cut flatters the silhouette thanks to its double back darts and the width of the thigh circumference. La Piscine fabric selection for the Grand Bain Shorts
Grand Bain will be beautiful in our Twist cotton jacquard; its design underlined with lurex bringing the perfect "shiny" touch to its pastel tones. Try them in a heavy white gabardine and these shorts will be loved for a long time. Lighter fabrics also suit them well such as our viscose twills.
The beautiful brands that dived with us La Piscine
A huge thank you to the shoes and leather goods brand La Botte Gardiane who’s lovely leather sandals we wore on this photo shoot. The aesthetics of these natural leather shoes, gladiator sandals, slide on’s, along with their iconic leather mesh bag bring a slightly bohemian summer note to our outfits.
The LA2L jewellery brand came along to adorn us with their sparks: fabulous earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and rings, so many marvels, Gris Gris Précieux that embellished us (you can also see their wonderful Joe Mariage ring on my finger in all the tutorial videos of this collection, I fell in love hehehe).
