How to make the Brooklyn trousers?

The Brooklyn pattern is a strong and highly desirable piece of the Empire State Of Fauve collection. These magnificent trousers combine the comfort and elegance of a wide-leg trouser, the femininity of a well-gripped waist and nicely shaped derriere, Italian pockets and always the Maison Fauve signature: stitched pleat details on the front of the trousers, which do not add any excess volume but in fact add detail and elongates the silhouette. And, in order not to break the stitching detail, the trousers are closed with an invisible zip on the side.

Worn by Emilie and Amanda who are a little less than 1m65, as well as by Vanina or Cathy who are almost 1m70, flat in trainers or in heels, the cut of these trousers has been designed with all body types in mind.

For this video and in order to make the back and front of the garment visible, we have sewn Brooklyn in Forest corduroy fabric, you could also use a thinner, suit-like fabric like our Jazz cotton jacquard, which would also look fabulous!

Happy sewing :)
