Sewing Tutorial: Ispahan Jacket

A great jacket with beautiful finishes, I explain everything about the making of the wonderful ISPAHAN jacket.

For this tutorial, I show the version with a seam overlay. This is the most technical variation of the pattern, and the assembly steps will be identical if you choose the more accessible version without an inlay.

I used a jacquard from Pretty Mercerie and the contrasting band is in black Dupioni silk. The lining is a silk/viscose blend from Juni Design. The rendering is precious, very "couture"!
