Passion Red Lamé Fabric from the Les Nuits Fauve summer capsule
This pretty fabric, is very soft and pleasant to sew and wear, it will be perfect for sewing a soft and light version of the Dandelion jacket, Grand Bain shorts and creating tops, shirts and blouses and dresses. The fabric has a medium opacity making it suitable to wear with nude or contrasting coloured underwear or with a matching cotton voile or cupro lining.
The fabric is available with a range of matching buttons and sewing threads.
The reverse side of the fabric is soft, but please be aware that unfinished seams and cuts where the lamé is exposed may feel uncomfortable to the skin. We recommend French seams or bias-bound finishes if you are sewing a garment without lining and are sensitive to the surface condition of fabrics, especially for a blouse or a top.

Its twill weave gives it a very nice drape. The mixed fibers provide a shiny, tone-on-tone lamé finish.
If you need to iron-on interfacing with this fabric, we recommend G710
Washing
- Before sewing your fabric, we recommend ironing on the reverse side with steam to fix the fibers
- Overlock the edges before sewing
- Wash at 30°C on a delicate program, preferably in a laundry net
- Gentle spin, 400 revolutions maximum
- DO NOT tumble dry
- Ironing at low temperature
