Free PDF supplement: Misfit perfecto / PDF (A4, A3, A0, US Letter) - Frames, Layers by Size, Video Projection

Have you fallen in love with the Misfit perfecto but are apprehensive about some technical aspects? We offer you a PDF of the simplified sleeve pattern: no more zips with underarm gussets, but still a perfect sleeve cut. The PDF add-on includes the fabric and lining sleeve pieces.
IT IS ESSENTIAL TO HAVE THE MISFIT JACKET PATTERN TO MAKE THIS VERSION.
And for an ultra-easy-to-sew perfecto, we show you in a free sewing tutorial how to adapt its pattern as a small summer jacket: no more lining (but still pretty finishes), no more zippered welt pockets, and of course simplified sleeves. If Misfit impressed you with its technicality, it will also win you over in this streamlined finish!

Sizes: EU 34–52, for a height of 1.65m (5'5").

Sewing Level: INTERMEDIATE

Seam allowances included (1 cm)

Supplies
  • 3 buttons between 15 and 20 mm
  • 1 separating zipper (45 cm) and 2 zippers (13 cm) for the pockets only

For an unlined version of the Perfecto jacket and neat finishes, you will need 5m of bias tape.

  • 90 cm of fusible interfacing. We use Vlieseline G700
  • Fabrics (140 cm wide):

Main Fabric: 34-42: 160 cm, 44-52: 190 cm

Lining: 34-52: 130 cm

  • Universal sewing machine needles

Fabric choice :

Woven fabrics only: jacquard, tweed, medium-weight denim, leather or faux leather, gabardine, weighing 230 to 400g/m2 depending on the desired drape. For the lining, I recommend choosing a specific lining fabric, such as our 100% cupro lining, which is slippery and more breathable than polyester.
