What if the beautiful NOTTE dress could be worn all year round? Discover the free extension for the NOTTE sewing pattern, allowing you to sew a sleeveless version while keeping beautifully finished armholes.

The design retains everything that makes it so distinctive: softly sculpted shoulders enhanced by a delicate pleat, two back options (buttoned or closed), two skirt lengths, and a defined yet comfortable waist thanks to a discreet elasticated back. The skirt also features hidden pockets, seamlessly integrated into the silhouette.

The sleeveless version pattern pieces are provided in PDF format , in addition to the original Notte dress pattern. Having the original Notte dress pattern is essential to sew your dress.

Sizes: EU 34–52, for a height of 1.65m (5'5").

Sewing Level: INTERMEDIATE. This pattern includes the following techniques: sewing darts and pleats, finishing curved necklines with a facing, creating clean shoulder seams using the burrito method, sewing a button placket, inserting elastic at the back, and adding an invisible side zip.

Fabric choice :

Choose fabrics between 100 and 200 g/m2 that press well - this will help with achieving clean, curved neckline finishes. Ideal options include poplin, crepe, dupion, lightweight denim, or chambray, in fibres such as cotton, viscose, linen, Tencel.

We are showcasing the pattern in the following Maison Fauve fabrics: the Tencel–linen–cotton dupion, the lightweight cotton–lurex Pantera jacquard (these fabrics are interfaced with Vlieseline G785) and the printed viscose poplin (this fabric is interfaced with Vlieseline G710).

These fabrics range from 110 to 160 g/m².

Fabrics that are very fluid or lightweight, and stretch easily on the bias, are not recommended: they make it difficult to press the pleats properly and may cause the neckline to lose its shape.
