PDF Pattern
A maxi skirt featuring three ruffles and waistband over a pencil skirt closed at the back by an invisible zipper. The skirt ruffles are partially cut on the bias which gives this flowy dancing skirt a lovely drape avoiding the commonly feared puffy effect of ruffles on skirts.
A shortened version with 2 ruffles is also possible, requiring less fabric.
Sewing level : intermediate, the key technical aspects are assembling the frills, with an optional rolled hem for a perfect finish, and inserting the invisible back zip.
