Pattern

Several options for the same pattern, that's the Maison Fauve touch! The LUDMILLA pattern allows you to make outfits with various necklines: a scoop neckline on the front or back, faux wrap, a long dress version with a belt for a balanced silhouette or a top version to go with your favorite jeans. And the length of the sleeves is deliberately exaggerated to be worn with a scrunched up nonchalance on the wrist… a piece that is quick to sew and oh so feminine!

The seam allowances are included for 1cm.

Supplies
  • Knit fabrics in 140cm  width:
  • For the top: from XS to L 150 cm, 160 cm from XL to XXXL.
  • For the dress: 220 cm

Choice of fabric: knit fabrics that have elasticity, ribbed cotton or viscose jersey, cut / sewn stitch, stretch milano knit. Avoid mesh fabrics that are too light such as mesh for t-shirts. Knit fabrics can be assembled either with the sewing machine or if you have one, an overlocker. Choose a special jersey needle with a rounded point that will not damage the fabric and make sewing easier. Select the elastic stitch on your machine. On the overlocker, adapt the differential feed in order to have elasticity in the assembly seam.
