Masculine elegance meets Maison Fauve style: the SCALA shirt draws inspiration from the charm of Italian tailoring.
With its sharp-pointed oversized collar and wide stitched pleats at the front, SCALA is all about refined detail. A soft round pleat adds movement at the back, while its straight, timeless cut and slightly dropped shoulder create an effortlessly chic silhouette.
A collarless version, finished neatly with bias binding, is also included in the pattern.

UK Size: from 6 to 24 (34 to 52), for a height of 1m65. The finished garment measurements chart is available in the product photos.
Sewing Level: Intermediate. Key techniques in this pattern include: stitching pleats, sewing a shirt collar, using the burrito method for a clean yoke finish, assembling a two-piece sleeve with a sleeve vent, and attaching a cuff.

Choice of fabrics: Choose light to midweight fabrics (between 70 and 200g/m²) with good pressability to help achieve crisp pleats. Ideal options include poplin, crepe, voile, lace, lightweight denim, or chambray. Fabrics may be made from cotton, viscose, linen, Tencel, or even silk.
