The haberdashery dedicated to sewn flowers
To sew your flower you will need:
-
60x7cm of fabric for the flower and 2 circles with a 5cm diameter. Also, allow for a 5cm diameter circle of fusible interfacing.
-
Choose a fine and supple fabric such as viscose poplin, Lucente jacquard, Tencel satin or lace
-
If you wish to use fabrics with more thickness and structure, particularly medium-weight jacquards, which are as beautiful on the reverse side as the right side, the strip will then be 60x4 cm because it will not be folded, and the edge will be finished with a rolled hem.
To support this project, we have selected a haberdashery specifically designed for sewn flowers .
You will find:
-
Brooch pins , perfect for transforming your sewn flower into a removable accessory
-
Snap fasteners , ideal for replacing traditional buttons and creating a "trompe l'oeil" effect for flower buds
This haberdashery offers a different way to wear your sewn flower . And you can take it a step further by attaching it to a hair clip, an elastic band… Let yourself be inspired!
