Autumn Lunares - The colours of the season

Lunares ,the timeless charm of polka dots: Polka dots are having their moment once again - though, truth be told, they never really go out of style. Whether used as a statement or a subtle accent, their playful elegance continues to captivate. This autumn, the LUNARES collection grows with four variations inspired by Maison Fauve’s seasonal palette: Plum and Chestnut Brown join the classic Navy Blue and Mocha for a fresh take on a timeless favourite.

SCALA IN VARSITY - The new sewing box

Scala is a refined shirt pattern distinguished by its thoughtful details and timeless elegance. Originally created in collaboration with Marie Claire Idées for the magazine’s back-to-school issue, the Scala shirt is now available as a printed pattern and includes a new collarless version with a beautifully finished neckline.

This version offers a more relaxed take on the design, while maintaining its signature sophistication. The pattern comes with a detailed instruction booklet to guide you through each step - including how to apply the neckline bias binding (with the bias piece provided on the pattern sheet).

We’re celebrating the arrival of the Scala pattern in paper format with a beautiful fabric pairing in our new autumn sewing box.

Inspired by a campus spirit, the VARSITY stripe gives structure to the silhouette and enhances every detail of the pattern. Woven in France, this fluid viscose jacquard stands out with its fine stripes, subtly highlighted by a delicate lurex thread that catches the light with understated elegance.

Scala in Varsity evokes the image of students strolling through Central Park - a crisp collar peeking out from beneath a sweatshirt, a vibrant shirt adding energy to a wool skirt. It’s the kind of piece we’ll love season after season, a true timeless classic that never goes out of style.

Why a new sewing box?

We are often asked if we are able to offer sewing kits featuring patterns and fabrics already available in our collections. The launch of Scala as a printed pattern felt like the perfect moment to do just that. The beauty of a sewing box lies in its harmony - a thoughtfully curated combination of a pattern and fabric that complement each other perfectly, along with all the essential notions: buttons, thread, needles, and interfacing suited to both the fabric and the project. It’s the promise of a cohesive, well-balanced project - and the joy of creating a garment that’s as beautiful as it is impeccably made, with no unwelcome surprises, just pure sewing pleasure.

• The pattern comes in a beautiful pouch containing a pattern sheet printed on high-quality paper (with seam allowances included and non-overlapping pieces, ready to use), an instruction booklet on glossy paper illustrated with clear diagrams, and a link to a free video tutorial to guide you step by step.

• The Varsity viscose jacquard fabric coupon, available in 3 colours:

The wool coat fabrics launched with the L’Avventura collection were such a success that they sold out in no time. So we set out in search of new treasures - luxurious materials perfectly suited to our trench coat and coat patterns. These beautiful fabrics, sourced from Italy, feature premium compositions such as virgin wool and cashmere, offering both quality and originality for your future creations. All our woollen fabrics come from surplus designer stock, meaning each fabric is available in limited quantities and cannot be restocked once sold out.

• Brushed Wool and Cashmere Fabric: A luxurious blend of virgin wool and cashmere that offers exceptional warmth while remaining supple and irresistibly soft. Its vibrant teal hue brings a distinctive, elegant touch to your winter coats and jackets.

• Textured Black Wool with Royal Blue Checks: This striking medium-weight 100% virgin wool fabric is full of character. Supple yet structured thanks to its pronounced weave, it lends a refined Anglo-Saxon charm to handmade trench coats and tailored jackets.

• Heathered Anthracite 100% Virgin Wool: Soft, supple, and beautifully textured, this 100% virgin wool fabric is the perfect choice for sewing a coat or jacket with a subtle, slightly fuzzy finish. Its exceptional quality ensures a garment that’s both timeless and durable.

• Bouclé Virgin Wool Tweed: Following the success of our herringbone tweed from the L’Avventura launch, we’ve selected this stunning bouclé tweed with a voluminous knit interwoven with black and white yarns. Soft and supple with an elegant drape, it creates garments with that effortlessly androgynous “gentleman farmer” allure.
