Highland fizz, full sun on the skirt and its video tutorial

We offer you two new exclusive variations of the Highland skirt, inspired by the new Nomade collection :
- The version in water-repellent crinkled effect canvas : this look has a touch of madness that shakes up the Nomade collection. In this parachute canvas, the long ruffled skirt will have some volume and the movement will be incredible. But be careful, this is a fabric that requires a little experience in order to successfully sew the rounded hem and install the invisible zip.
- The mini version in viscose satin with a cumin sheen : this mini version of the Highland skirt combines sophistication and audacity. The viscose satin offers a fluid drape and a subtle touch of sparkle. It has a sublime drape, which will highlight the skirt's arc-shaped ruffles. The warm cumin color brings softness. This unexpected duo with the Rafale windbreaker works really well, because the ochre tones blend perfectly with the denim blue of the Macadam fabric. And the combination of a casual windbreaker and a little satin dancing skirt is more than seductive.

BIM BAM BOUM!!! Get ready to be amazed...when a so peps and fresh fabric crosses my pretty ruffled skirt it makes sparks!
This little navy and yellow wonder is a fabric from the new Mind the Maker collection, ordered from the MeterMeter haberdashery. Its drape is just perfect for the model. I had sewn this fabric in another color for the Zenith dress ( blog article here )... a little addiction I think ;)
Highland is a skirt pattern that allows you to sew different versions: a short version with 2 flounces as shown here, and also a long skirt with 3 flounces that is so cool but may be less practical for everyday wear (although...memory of my beautiful lemon skirt worn a lot here ;) ) The skirt is made up of a skirt base on which the flounces are sewn in an arc, hence the perfect drape without "inflating" the volume, because there are no gathers. And if you want, you can even make a peplum skirt with just a flounce at the waist and a straight skirt underneath. I have a huge crush on my new skirt, which is totally wearable for everyday wear (sandals and a little white cotton top to calm things down) but which will also be a perfect outfit for going dancing (silk top, pretty heels, queen of the dance floor attitude guaranteed by Maison Fauve :) ). 
This pattern is accessible, the technical points are the installation of the belt, the invisible zip, and properly hemming the ruffles....but with the video tutorial it will be a real walk in the park. Rather quick to sew in this 2 ruffle version, if you start early in the afternoon you will have your outfit for the evening! I put the link to the pocket pattern here , and the pdf pattern here
