TIGRIS is the essential coat from the Fauvae Botanica Autumn Winter 2023/2024 collection.
For spring, revisit our beautiful Tigris coat pattern into an iconic trench coat using our free PDF supplement. You can easily hack your sewing pattern by changing the shape of the collar and adding a storm shield in the back and a belt with loops.
The PDF extension only contains the back storm shield, collar and belt pattern pieces as well as the sewing instructions which complete the Tigris brochure. You must have the Tigris cover pattern to be able to make the adaptation.

Size: pieces grade from 34 to 52
Sewing level: intermediate for the short version and without welt pocket, advanced for the long version with center back vent and assembly of welt pockets. The technical points are the welt pocket, the back vent, the collar.
SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE INCLUDED (1 CM).

- 8 buttons of approximately 20 mm
- 130 cm of iron-on interfacing for the collar, the facing, the opening of the welted pockets and the bottom of the bust and sleeve pieces. We use Vlieseline G700 in our video.
Iron-on the bottom of your bust and sleeve pieces with 3 cm high strips for a well-defined coat and sleeve hem.
Fabric
Elegant, timeless, your Tigris trench coat will look great in 100% cotton gabardine fabrics, as well as in medium weight and soft woolens like our 100% wool tartan woolen. A wool with hold, tweed, a gabardine, weighing approximately 300 to 650g/m2 in order to highlight the straight cut and the line of the collar, shoulders and storm shield.
