Showing it off without showing too much is the guarantee the beautiful Sonia dress gives. A tribute to the magnificent paintings of the artist Sonia Delaunay, this piece will allow you to combine fabrics that will lend themselves to all your desires: a going out out evening outfit with its details highlighted by lace or satin, a two-tone ultra-
contemporary tasteful dress with colour block effects like an avant-garde painting, and why not play with mix and match prints ?!
With its yoke work on the sleeves, and inlays on the front of the skirt, the pattern will allow you to let your curiosity speak for itself, to play around with your inspiration. The sleeves are nicely gathered around the cuff, the waist line is pulled up for more modern look, and the cutting work of the skirt lifts and brings perfect movement without adding fullness.
Difficulty level: intermediate. The technical points are the installation of the invisible zipper, sewing on sleeves and a sleeve cuff, and making the inlays on the front of the skirt. But don’t panic, you can find the video tutorial of the Sonia dress on our website or our Youtube channel!
The pattern grade goes from 34 to 52
The seam allowances are 1cm and are included in your pattern.
