A fresh take on tailoring: the Manhattan Jacket paired with the Scala polka-dot shirt.
This autumn, men’s and women’s style form the foundation of the Maison Fauve wardrobe. Inspired by the spirit of the 1970s, fashion embraces freedom, boldness, and the blurring of traditional gender codes to create a new silhouette.
Wearing trousers, a tailored jacket, or even a tuxedo becomes a statement of confidence and independence. Yet, femininity is never hidden—it is redefined, revealed in the tension between masculine precision and sensual self-assurance.

Manhattan, Ronsard & Scala - the must-have trio for the new season.
The Manhattan Jacket, a standout piece from the Empire State of Fauve collection, makes a strong statement:
- Structured shoulders and a striking arrow collar
- A sculpted silhouette, shaped by tailored inserts
- Luxury finishes throughout - fully lined, with even a hidden pocket for that secret touch
This blazer can be worn open to showcase the shirt, or cinched with a belt for a fashion-forward silhouette
Beneath it, the Scala Shirt brings lightness and Italian elegance: a generous signature collar, stitched pleats at the front inspired by a tuxedo shirt, and a rounded pleat at the back. These refined details strike a beautiful contrast with the sharp structure of the blazer. For this look, I chose our Lunares Mocha viscose poplin — soft, fluid, and dotted with playful retro polka dots. Its warm mocha shade pairs perfectly with the camel tones of the Manhattan Jacket, adding charm and balance to this tailored silhouette.
The Ronsard Jeans complete the outfit:
- With a fitted waist and hips and a long, wide leg, this cut is ultra-flattering, elongating and refining the silhouette.
- All the signature details of classic denim are there, reimagined in a hand-sewn piece that feels effortlessly perfect.
Why do we love this outfit?
Because it reimagines the suit for autumn: modern and feminine, yet still refined. The Lunares polka dots bring movement and charm to the shirt’s intricate design, softening the blazer’s structured lines. The jeans ease the formality of the ensemble, while their light blue tone adds a refreshing touch.
The palette is perfectly balanced: warm light brown, the camel hue of the mini-herringbone jacket, and pale denim that nods to a subtle seventies influence. For accessories, I chose leather and wood platform sandals. A slim black leather belt to echo the shoes, paired with a large brown leather tote, would complete the look beautifully.
