My Passion Red Makes

Say it with flowers

Like a negligee, I chose to sew the Paola sewing pattern in our Jardin Fauve viscose poplin, and it's a marvel! Paola's dancing look and magnificent back  go very well with this supple and soft fabric. As beautiful to wear as a dress during the summer or as as sleepwear, the Paola dress is a little hand-sewn gem.

Flamboyant lace

Speaking of sleepwear, how can you not fall for the Blush dress in our Cherry Red laceI love the clean cut of the Blush slip dress pattern as the emphasis is on the fabric. For this very glamorous version, I lengthened the pattern by 20 cm, and I created a split in the side seam. I did not line my garment, and I kept the construction as indicated on the pattern, with a facing neckline at the front. However, I skipped the iron-on as the lace is openwork. This Blush dress is sexy as hell, and I can already imagine making the camisole version of the pattern in another lace like our beautiful ecru lace, totally in the tone of an underwear/top style.

Haut Vol Elegance

This pretty dress from our La Piscine collection is not as understated as it seems… Its very pretty line, the subtle cutout on the neckline, the flexibility of the gathered bust, the Haut Vol dress is very elegant and will be the perfect Valentine outfit.

Haut Vol likes soft fabrics that drape well. Sewn in cherry red, it won't go unnoticed! The fabric is no longer available in this color, but pattern will be equally beautiful in any of our wonderful plain viscose twills: in bright Jaune Fizzin Rose Shocking, in Bleu Cobalt, color blocking is a safe bet for this pattern.

My white sewing

Sweetness in Lily

My beautiful Pompon in ecru Lily jacquard deserved a new piece to keep her company. I chose to sew the skirt version proposed in the Pénélope dress pattern: a pretty wrap trapeze skirt, quick to sew and goes with everything!

There is something in this total white look that is both charming and very feminine: the suppleness of the viscose jacquard brings lightness, the combination of the skirt and the waistcoat creates something a little retro, very Pretty Woman. To overcome any concerns about transparency, I slipped a Blush slip dress sewn from our white cotton voile underneath. Deceptively ingenuous, this set will be as beautiful warmed up under a pretty knit for chic evenings this summer!

I loved revisiting the Maison Fauve wardrobe to offer you 4  looks perfect for Valentine’s DayThese different garments gave rise to a shooting, with lots of accessories and a beauty look in the theme of glamor, but I already know that each of these outfits will give rise to other looks, other ways of wearing my clothes, and will not be confined to just one occasion. Furthermore, a little bird told me that we have a nice surprise for you, which will be revealed on February 14th... See you soon!
