Loulou Trousers the video tutorial!

Hello!

Back with another sewing tutorial that you've been asking me for, for a long time: the step-by-step of the cute pants Loulou!

The Loulou trousers pattern has very nice details: the Italian front pocket which makes an angle and can be raised with piping, the false piping pocket on the back. The other technical points are the belt and the invisible zip. I describe all these steps in a video so that Loulou is no longer a secret for you ;)

It is not too complicated to sew, and it will be an opportunity to describe new sewing techniques that you can apply to all your work. And for the bottom of the pants, I have given you a finish with a cuff, perfect when you want to wear your cigarette pants fire on the floor ;)

Loulou is sewn in a kind of gabardine with some elasticity and flocked velvet (it comes from a small haberdashery near the workshop I can't put the link to the fabric). I wear it with my pretty Lisa bodysuit from Make my lemonade, GH BASS moccasins a bit retro in two colors, and my pretty Cala creoles from Ilabella. A total black look but the patterns in relief and the pocket highlighted by the faux leather piping from Loulou and the nice cut of the body lifts the look. I like wearing more and more flat, sandals in summer and moccasins, or ballerinas in winter to reveal the ankle (although not very big, the naked ankle lengthens the leg a bit I think).

Happy sewing with Loulou!
