Sewing pattern tutorial: How to make the Soho wrap dress/blouse?

The most glamorous and the most stunning, the best for dancing, that's Soho. The Soho pattern is a magnificent wrap dress that is full of pretty details: the waist belt does not encircle the entire waistline but slips into a very elegant front dart/pleated work that supports the sides and back of the dress. The back is also defined by this same pleated work, giving the pattern a fitted cut without being too obvious. The cuffs have a small detail with a subtle working of "broken" angles. It has a very supple and very feminine line and its beautiful neckline can easily be held in place with a small press stud if you are a bit concerned about the opening of the crossed necklines on wrap dresses. The pattern can be sewn with or without the visible buttoning.

Beware, Soho is not just a dress designed for the dance floor: wear it with sneakers or flat boots for a day look, you will appreciate its comfort and its effortless side, because with this  dress ‘it’s easy’ it dresses you;)

And the icing on the cake, Soho also comes in a blouse… Irresistible, isn't it?!

For this popular tutorial and in order to make the video more accessible I have sewed the blouse version of Soho. The fabric is our Twist viscose and our ultra violet natural mother-of-pearl buttons.

Happy sewing!
