Sewing pattern tutorial: The Pilar Jacket

PILAR is the jacket we dreamed of at Maison Fauve: a good straight cut, not too wide nor too short and top stitched finishes. But in true Maison Fauve style we couldn't do without our signature details for this beautiful pattern: stitched darts on the front of the jacket and the option of sewing a wonderful back with an inverted pleat to twist this iconic denim piece.

As beautiful in denim as in jacquard, the technical points are the assembly of the collar, the making of the back pleat, the precision of the darts stitched on the front of the jacket  and the topstitching.
