The Ray coat video tutorial

Hello !!!

Here it is at last, the step-by-step video of the RAY coat... I know I made you yearn, but now welcome to the wonderful world of the welt pocket with a flap, the lining with the shiny detail, and the perfect collar tips ;)

I chose for this project a pretty check woolen fabric from Pretty Mercerie (ok my fittings are not perfectly perfect...) and a viscose lining whose cashmere flower print is fitting with the oriental and Slavic theme of the new collection.

I wear my coat with my HUSSARD jeans, a pair of moccasins, my beautiful MAIA blouse in tencel diamond Meet Milk (a reminder of the piping with the inside of the coat...the game of pretty hand-sewn finishes!).

My earrings and my jewel belt come from Sézane (I take revenge on the accessories at their place hihihi).

You will notice that the blouse tucked into the jeans leads to an interesting face to face between the folds of the trouser pocket and the folds of the bust of the blouse. This was not premeditated, and it's the kind of surprise that makes me happy!

I hope that the tutorial will be able to provide you with all the necessary information, we have taken the time to really focus on the most technical elements, but also to describe techniques that will be useful for all your makes. And you will see that Ray is not so difficult, do not hesitate to learn from your train on falls, especially for the pocket, but the result is worth it!

The pattern is available in pocket format and grade from 34 to 56 with well-designed armholes and builds for large sizes.
