Paper Sewing Pattern

Looking for a beautiful long dress to twirl around all summer? Look no further, here is Cuba Libre!

The panel skirt construction provides a perfect fit without too much volume, and the elasticated back means you don't have to sew a side zip... Easy to sew and divine to wear, the Cuba Libre dress is available with an open back version for wild evenings or with a closed back to be the most elegant barefoot by the water's edge. With its pretty butterfly sleeves, its V-neckline and its beautiful long skirt, it is irresistible, right?!

Gypset Style: A Boho Cuba Libre Dress!

For this version of the dress, the amount of fabric is different because the shell lace has a particular orientation. The placement will be done with the fabric folded, with a height of 1.4 meters, and the fabric quantities are: 2.8 meters for sizes 34-36, 3 meters for sizes 38-44, and 3.3 meters for sizes 46-52. The dress is fully lined on the skirt and front bodice, following the information provided in the brochure (assembly instructions and fabric quantities for the lining are all explained). The lining was cut from our cotton voile. Find the cutting layout in the product photo.

Sewing level: INTERMEDIATE, the technical aspects include sewing a V neck, the gathers and fitting the elastic.

If you want to line your dress we recommend cotton voile.
