Superb 100% Encre (Ink blue) wool suiting fabric from the Autumn Winter 23/24 Fauvae Botanica collection

Superb fabric in 100% Merino wool, woven in the United Kingdom. This medium weight wool will be perfect for sewing trousers, jackets including suit jackets, dresses, shorts and jumpsuits. Soft, supple, with an extremely beautiful drape, its fil à fil twill weave alternates navy blue and black threads for a subtly mottled effect and its worsted wool finish offers a slightly satin effect finish. Deadstock fabric from a fashion house of the LVMH group.

For sewing, we recommend our universal sewing machine needles, our black sewing thread and if you need to use iron-on interfacing with the fabric we suggest: Vlieseline G700. When sewing jackets we recommend that you stabilise the front bust using iron-on interfacing Vlieseline G785 in addition to the usual stabiliser recommended in your sewing patterns.
